Sike Dolo was born in Atlanta and raised in Palm Beach County, Belle Glade, Florida. Inspired by a lot of local artists in Atlanta as well as mainstream artists in the transitional phase (2002-2003) of the rap/hip hop industry to pursue music as an independent artist. Music became his creative outlet and his path to entrepreneurship. Sike firmly believes in “selling out of da trunk” and putting in blood, sweat and tears into his hustle. Sike’s name was given to him in 1993 by Tavius and Sirvay. Originally called Psycho but cut short to Sike in 1995 when he came back to Georgia (Central Drive, Stone Mountain). Dolo was added on to proclaim newfound independence. Sike Dolo’s music can be described as streets meet rhythm and blues and contains overall substance about every aspect of life.
Also Sike is the founder of Sunday Beer DVDs (promotional documentaries). Sunday Beer started out as a song concept that evolved into the name for a rap group duo consisting of artists Sike Dolo and Sirvay. From there, Sunday Beer became visual and used as a tool to promote independent and mainstream artists in addition to small businesses, educate, inform and at the same time entertain.
